summary for week 4 Oct’09

Maybe for the past few days that I’d slept too much, I can’t recall things well.

Like what I did or where I went?

When I am feeling bad/ down/ problematic, I always sleep ALOT.

Sleeping is the best way to pass time so as to deactivate your brain for thinking so much and the minor plus point is that it helps to slim down.

WTF!

It is true. Excessive sleeping do help you to slim down. It works slightly for me.

Anyway, these are what I recalled for the past week:

1)  Went to Owen’s place for dinner then watch live soccer match played among Jason & friends on one of the days. Not my first time to the ‘CAGE’. Used to play floorball there when I was with Hello Moto. We should be ogling at how our boyfriends fare in the match but instead Jac and I were sharing our life happenings + gossiping about other girls. *faint*

2) Before I went to Jason’s place on Friday, I got really agitated by the fact that I WANT TO BUY THINGS, SPENT LOTSA $ IN CLOTHES ETC TO MAKE MYSELF HAPPY (you know how shopping and buying things can temporary make a girl happy) in town but THERE IS REALLY NOTHING FOR ME TO BUY except for a box of fake lashes and some accessories. I am totally not appeased!

3) I had many coffee sessions last week with the same people, at least 4 sessions I think. We even discovered that the MacDonald at Parkway Parade is a good alternative place to drink coffee next time, except that it is only opened 24 hours on weekends. Oh ya, collecting the stickers for the monopoly game is another trend that we are following now. Funny, Jac even go and ask the waiter what a snack wrap is when we won that. And Jason is looking for leftover stickers from other table. That is really a typical uncle-doing. =p. Maybe we just dreamt too much and hope that the $50,ooo will be won away by us.

4) I finally went shopping on Sat even though we only reached town in the late evening. But, I was upset again for not seeing anything that I really like. My loots for the day included a $9 F21 T-shirt (what-a-steal) and 2 boxers shorts from Cotton-On. Sigh, and that’s it.

5) I have to repeat that I AM ALONE without my girlies many times to people when I was in DF last Sat.

6) There are so many adorable kittens at Bishan Prawning place when I visited last week. They amazed me by playing with the prawn I just hooked, riped the body apart and start eating the LIVE prawn, leaving the head still dangling from my rod.

7) I did another stunt, that is to hook a gigantic almost dying prawn on the tail. -_-”

Had Sakura (again!!) buffet dinner with my family on Sunday. I love family dinner nowadays, it is something that I try not to miss. =D

9) 2 promises received – Owen Tan to buy me 3 boxes of Fresh Mint Eclipses after acting like a mint distributor on Sat at DF. Jason Low & Owen Tan agreed to try out new Lan Game, L4d (darn I am slow and SUA-GU I know) soon in one of the weekends.

10) Another major and serious promise that I received from Jason Low last night. This shall be kept in my heart that I will remember it always, unless it has been voided. So I hope he can remember it as well, as long as Phyllis Lye is still his girlfriend.

That is about it.

10 pointers to summarise my last week. Actually, my last week happenings can write at least 1000 pointers.

But I see no point in telling people. Especially when I know that I should feel worst but I am actually still feeling alright. I am thinking why is that so and I finally found the reason. And there is only 1 person in the entire world that know this reason.

It will most probably be well kept with this person and myself.

Because I don’t like this reason.

Ok, It is getting out of hand, I don’t know what I am typing already.

Shall end before I spout nonsense.

Slept too much until I became stupor and cannot express myself clearly.

ARGH

 

p/s: whenever I feel screwed, I always recalled what ephy used to say:  难道你要sad到你死meh?  LOL, it may sound funny but it is already embedded in my mind that whenever I encountered shit, this sentence will pop up in my mind. Afterwhich, I will really think:  yah lor, I want to sad until I die meh? LOL. 

This is really useful for me. So, listen to the useful advice that your friend gave. =)

into the 3rd day….

I am really happy to see somebody whom I have not seen a long time.

After going through all the emotional roller coaster ride, I think it somehow sooth my mood abit .

Jason was with me for the past few days.

I wouldn’t say 24 hours.

But close to make my heart settled a little.

Even though I still feel bitter every morning when I wake up,

but I am glad that I am feeling stronger from the day the saga ended.

 

 

p/s: Whatever you do, just believe in yourself.

There is no forever happy-happy or sad-sad moments. I believe that there is always a better tomorrow.

When she cried in front of me last night, my heart was bitter.

When she called me just now weeping, promising me that she will move on with her life, I cried with her.

I can totally feel how she feels.

I hummed so much that I don’t feel sick of it. The lyrics, rhythem (or whatever, I am not a musical person) and the way the singer sang, is just so perfect. At least it is soothing to my ears and bring out the emotions in me.

I personally kind of like her when she is in the 超级星光大道3 contest. Although she is not some hot babe, but I find her voice pleasant to listen to. Worth to mention, she is also the winner of the contest!

Yesterday was Daddy’s birthday. Had a simple celebration at Sis’s house. Did up a card for him + gave him an angbao. I am so into doing card for people nowadays, maybe because I am too free during work and ever since Toh’s card, it sparks me that I can be an art and craft person also, just not a perfect one. HAHA.

Dad was happy, we bought cake and had simple home cooked dinner. He said that I was innovative in doing a card for him. =D~

Actually, I am much guilty that for the past years, I haven’t been by his side to celebrate his birthday with him. It is either I am not in SG, or that I spent my day with Hubert as it was our anniversary date back then.

Anyway, glad that Daddy is happy. Hope I can be with his many birthdays coming ahead!

I think this set of photos were taken on one of the Fridays in September I think. And I have to say I don’t look nice in most of the photos. No choice, after-drinking face is always chui, for me!

I will be going for a touch-up session on my tattoo later after work. Jac is coming with me! Haha, but that is provided she is not late ah. =p  

I hope I can get to do some quick shopping as well.

Boyfriend just emailed me saying he had some scratches and bruises from last night soccer match. Sigh, again!

  Poor Jason, feel like sayang-ing him now. LOL

Actually I always NATO. (no action, talk only).

Because I am still shy to boyfriend sometimes.

tender loving weekend

I so feel like sleeping in with Jason just now and didn’t want to come to work. =(

Why are good times always over so fast?! Weekends are so short-lived!

But a good and quality one is the most important.

And I am happy to say that I just had one.

Ok, I look like some 花痴  . LOL!

Friday, 9th October

Went home to take some clothes and off to Bedok. Waited for the guys to finish their last customer which took quite long because apparently that customer is quite an asshole that left them cursing and swearing. Had late dinner and went back to Dear’s place. Prepared and went to meet Karin & Jac at Cineleisure.

Adjourned to Boat Quay shortly after. As usual, Alcool Pub. Crazy place, Crazy games, Crazy drinking and Crazy nuisance from the Craziest people. We calculated at the end of the night that each of us (minus Karin Toh because this girl left for DF at 2am. -_-”) had a fair share of 2.5 jugs of beer. Woops!

I just saw endless jugs coming in. And I lost quite a number of games. I thought I can win FM in ‘ Stack’ but I don’t know why that night I had clumsy hands. HAHA. All the fun is like a replica years ago from Central (Hongkong Street) to De Alto (Tanjong Pagar) to the now Alcool (Boat Quay)

Same fun because of the same people!

Hurried down to Bishan with Jac to find the boyfriends for prawning. The guys were good that they did not go party. I was pretty tired after the drinking and by the time we reached home, it is already 6.15am.

Had a good night! =D~

Saturday, 10th October

Woke up to have lunch. Jason’s mum cooking again. Simple and delightful meal. Went back to bed with him and we slept through the day until 5.30pm. Went to help out and deliver car together with him and Owen to the airport. Waited quite long for the client.

Afterwhich, we went back home and it is dinner with Owen & Jac together at Tampines Mall. Oohh.. Jack’s Place love again! Jason was asking if I feel bored to always eat Jack’s Place with him. I don’t really mind actually because for this almost 5 months old relationship, we had it for only the 3rd time. Moreover, as what I mentioned before, it is the company that matters. I love to eat the Mixed Grill too !

Didn’t take photos of it. Was rather farmished and too engrossed in laughing at a new joke that Owen created. The ‘Codfish’ joke. I really didn’t mean to mock at this comical brother of mine, but it is really funny. HAHA.

Had a very filling dinner. But it was never complete without a dessert. So….off we went to have Chocolate Foundue Dessert at Haagen Dazs!

The most sinful thing, but who cares when ice-cream, brownies, cookies, fruits, cakes, chocolate sauce all fall into one? =p

Jason & I initially wanted to have that during my birthday. But I reckon we can finish it for 2 person. It is the perfect day with 4 person, therefore, it is time! HEHE

This cost almost $50. But kinda worth it. It was great except that the cookies are a tad too hard.

Super super full. Sent the couple home and we went home too. Watched TV, lazed. Jason said take a nap. I saw him sleep and I sleep together too. A random weird timing. We napped from 12.30am – 2.30am. ARGH.

Decided to meet the couple again at another weird timing – 4.00 am. Went to ECP MacDonald to watch soccer. Had big breakfast! Yearning for it the moment I stepped in. Comtemplating whether to eat it because of weight conscious issue. But finally I concede defeat when Miss Jac kept on pyschoing me. LOL!

What a full – of – good – food – Saturday!

Sunday, 12th October

Oh, we slept at around 6.45am I think. By the time we reached home from ECP, it was already 5.30am. Washed up and played Wahjong Viwawa. It has been sometime since I played and I have the sudden urge to play Mahjong. =p. Dear slept beside me and watched me play until he submitted to lala-land. I joined him shortly after.

Woke up at 11 plus because he needs to send his parents to the airport. Uncle & Auntie going to Genting! We send them to the airport, bid goodbye plus Auntie’s reminder to water the plants. (this serves like a reminder to me too so that I can remember to ask the boy to water the plants)

 Went to Bedok Interchange to have lunch. Had Ban Mian. Dear always complained that the standard dropped. But I feel that it taste pretty good even after eating a few times. I guess it is his fussy taste bud that is complaining. -_-”

On a random day last week, he suddenly popped a question asking if I want to go to the Zoo. I told him that I don’t want to be under the hot sun, so I prefer to go Night Safari if given a choice.

I thought he is just casually speaking about it until he suggested that we go yesterday. Never much thought that he really mean it because he is always very busy with his hectic Car Rental business, even sometimes during the weekend.

 

LOL

So, we went home first. I lied on the cosy bed watching TV. Jason busy working first before he can go out. And..we set off at around 6.30pm!

He send me to my house and collect my camera from my Sister. She is back from her holiday!

Reached Night Safari shortly because it is quite near my place. =D

Miss my camera that I camwhore abit while in the car. I am like FINALLY wearing the AX top that Jason bought for me. LOL.

The photographer (some Caucasian taking photo before us) is obviously not a very good photographer. HAHA. But its okie lah, at least she is nice to help us take.

In conjunction of Halloween, Night Safari had a ‘Halloween Horrors’ event going on. But too bad, it is only applicable to Friday and Saturday. Nevertheless, we still manage to see many decorations of it.

 

We were kind of farmished, therefore, we had dinner before entering.

Had our not so satisfying meal and off we went to buy the tickets.

Was comtemplating whether to buy the tickets that includes the tram ride or not. Jason has no preference and left me to make the decision. After much thoughts, I think walking is better although we can’t get to certain parts of the Safari. But I am really reluctant to sit all the way especially after a full meal.

So we decided to walk! And it is really quite a tedious walk because of the up slopes. HAHA

Ventured into the Halloween Trails first.

And we entered into a jungle trait.. literally like jungle lor except that there are paths. Worse thing is, in most of the journey, there are only 2 of us. I held on to Dear’s hand quite hard I think! HAHA

Okie, these 2 friends here scare me alittle bit. Because it shake vigorously suddenly! LOL

Before enterting to the ‘ BRIDGE OF NO RETURN’, which is something like a suspension bridge. But seriously, I dont think it is suspending enough.

OMG. Boyfriend acting scare. LOL !!! (this action not I force one, he himself did it ‘automatically’, HAHAHA)

Continued our path, saw a few cheap scares. And it is……

We walked into another trail, which is the leopard trail. From here on, we see the animals and no photos taken because we are obedient people and go by the book. (except for once I really cannot stand it that I have to take a photograph of a Giraffe but still, the flash doesn’t really compliment the photo much) Flashlight is not allowed because you will scare the animals.

Saw my favourite animal – Tiger! (too bad it is not white tiger, only available in Zoo). A very lazy Tiger it is. In the same position despite visiting him twice.

I asked Jason a question : Which animal you like most?

He: DOG

Me: Hello, I am talking about those in wild life! Like those you can find in a zoo.

He: Anything that can moves.

Ok, my boyfriend did get on my nerves sometime. LOL!

Proceeded further in and realised that we should rush for the 9.30pm show! We made mighty footsteps and make it all the way back to the Entrance Plaza to catch the last animal show. Glad that we are able to catch it because the gate is almost closed!

Quite entertaining. I especially adore the very cutie Otters that performed the picking up of cans/ bottles and dumped them into the Recycle bins. Pretty amusing.

 Show ended, we walked almost the whole area that we can covered. Didn’t miss out anything I think except to go to the bat’s track walk.

Found the place, went in, only the 2 of us. I found it creepy when I see big bats hanging inverted. It reminds me of Vampire. There is a part whereby a bat flys towards the direction of Dear and it scare the wits out of him. I laughed quite hard by it and keep telling him that he is such a big person and yet scare of a small bat. He replied saying it is normal human reaction that you will be scare of things that you never comes into contact with before ma. LOL!

We walked alot, perspired quite abit, had one or two mosquitoes bites and Jason kept on saying he ‘kana’ spider web. HAHA.

We went to meet Jac and Owen at Coffee Club Express in town after that. By the time we reached, it was already 11.30pm. Had a Ice Mocha. Did some chatting-up again, but at a slower pace because we are darn tired. HAHA. The couple is also tired because they went town for shopping from 4plus till then.

Sent them to Airport because Owen wanted to fetch his mama back from holiday. Back home to Dear’s place. By the time I settled everything (shower, packed my stuff and resizing the photos), it was already 2.30am. (that explains why I am so tired now but blogging keeps me alive for awhile)

Jason played Viwawa, I kissed him good night and turn in first and he joined shortly.

This is really a ‘tender loving’ weekend!

 

 

my type of movie

I have been good this week.

Other than visiting the gym on Tuesday and going for my usual BW appointment yesterday followed by a really quick and impromptu shopping spree at Bugis Junction, I rarely stepped out of my house.

Reason being I am very lazy and my muscles still ache like hell, even till now. I can’t laugh/ sneeze too hard! It hurts. =(

I am seeing Jason later after work. He is much missed by me for not seeing him for 4 days. Especially after a rather childish tiff with him sometime mid-week.

I am supposed to meet him on Tuesday night after my gym, but something caught me. So, I decided to head home.

Conclusion - I show off my childish-self when I feel cranky. This I admit. Boo.

Toh and I have been discussing on the oncoming movies that we are going to watch. We love horror and gore movies even though I have that stomach-over-turned feeling when I watch gore. 

Slitting of throats, digging of eyeballs, inner human organs revealed.

WOO!

Sadistic I may sound, but it is really something that will give you an adrenaline rush. LOL. Sounds kinky, but something along that line.

My favourite gory movie from the whole lot:

HOSTEL I

I super like this film because it is really gore enough. To the extend that I feel like vomiting after watching. I remembered I watched it in the wee hours ALONE and in the morning I am supposed to go for breakfast. (Fyi, I watched it 3 years ago) I couldn’t in the end because I am feeling nausea. LOL! I watched the DVD as I used to go JB and buy many DVDs back and mostly this genre type of movies!

I like it because of the good and exciting storyline.

Brief synopsis of Hostel I (In my own words)

It is about 2 American backpacking in Amsterdam and they were into visiting brothels. On their way back to their Hostel, they met a Russian man, telling them that there is a Hostel in Slovakia that is filled with American – loving women. So, the 2 backpackers decided to try their women luck there the next day. Indeed, when they arrived, they find lust and amazingly beautiful women over there. It was a happening night.

The next morning, they woke up finding one of the guys that joined them to stay in the Hostel went missing. Subsequently, one by one among the guys went missing too and one of the backpacker eventually find his remaining friends being held captives in a cell, like a dungeon. To his dismay, he saw his friends being tortured, killed and mutilated by a Dutch man. The backpacker was ambushed by thugs later on and was tortured by another German man.

The different nationalities men actually bribe the women and thugs in helping them to get those people from other nationalities (mostly American, some Japanese and Korean) and torture them to satisfy their sadistic crave. I think the ending is rather good though, at least the evil in turn gets a taste of their own medicine.

‘Best’ scene which is still fresh in our memory.. the eyeball dangling thing. Yea, her eye ball was being dug out but apparently the person did not do a good job.. it was left dangling from the eye socket. In the end, she herself pull her whole eye ball out.  AUCH !!!!

Anyway, there is a Hostel II as well in 2006 that I caught in a cinema. It totally sucks. Not as exciting and it is a poor sequel.  

My Second Favourite Gore Movie

SAW

I watched all the sequel (from Part I – 5). I never miss any part because I am in love with this movie. I particularly love Part III because of the innovative and creative scary gore parts! It really left me thinking …even after walking out from the cinema.

I remembered watching this movie 3 years back. And it is the first time watching movie with so many people, I think 7 others? (that was before I watched Angel and Demon with 12 people -_-”) I think SAW is a rather popular movie, so I shall save my breath on the synopsis. I think SAW lover will know about the notorious killer – Jigsaw.

 

The good thing is, SAW VI is coming out soon !! 5th November 2009! Toh and I already ‘chop’ each other. I can forget about the boyfriend, because he doesn’t like to watch horror and gore movies. =(

And I would love to watch Nightmare on Elm Street (something like Friday the 13th, Freddy VS Jason kind of movie, think this sequel is about Freddy again) which will be out end of the year or early next year!

You will find me in a cinema watching this type of movie instead of the boring-sticky-sleepy-naggy love romance fantasy movie. It will bore me to death.

The above are just 2 out of many scary/ gore movies that I have watched. When I got time then post the other nice ones!  

Heard that 4bia II is not as good as Part I. I watched Part 1 before, remembering that it was not bad. Therefore I think I won’t be watching Part 2 because of the poor reviews.

A great way to begin for a Tuesday morning seeing these photos. It just make my day!

Nothing much happened during the weekends.

Except for excessive sleeping. HAHA, read the word, not drinking but sleeping.

Maybe because I know that I was feeling weak, I didn’t touch on alcohol that much last week. Only for a short while on Saturday night on that little bit of Macallan and beer with Dear and friends at Le Bar and after that another bit of Martell at DF. It was my most sober night. HAHA

I have not been eating Teppanyaki for a long time and I am glad that Dear suggested that when we went to Tampines Mall on Sunday for dinner. I almost forgotten that Teppanyaki was once my love till then. Had a great dinner and Jac came over Jason’s place later in the night. Had girl-ly chat + gossiping again as the guys watch soccer and after that they went out to buy MacDonald back to us for supper. Finally unleashed myself to indulge on my favourite love, McFlurry!

Sinful x 100.

But its Okie!  I mend it by doing skipping again last night. Shit, I did not do that for almost 2 weeks. Felt super guilty therefore Jac and I are going to the gym later.

Where is the high metabolism rate that I used to have?!

And I am so happy that yesterday I was granted for an extra 4 days leave for the festive season.

That is, on top of the normal 14 days annual leave that I have, I am given extra off days for either 24th -30th Decemeber or 30th to 5th Jan.

Equivalent to 1 week of not working! WEE! When was the last time that I need not work for 1 week straight? Couldn’t remember!

The not so happy part is that I actually wanted to take for the New year block leave which is from 30th – 5th Jan but Kumari took it first. I am too slow la. Therefore, I am been left with no option but take the Xmas leave. 

Reasons that I prefer New Year leave more to Xmas is because firstly, I always love New Year celebration/ countdown compared to Xmas (that is why last year I rather spent my Xmas working in the air serving Bangalas and had a hard time begging the other crews to take my New Year flight)

Second reason is that Jason’s birthday falls on 1/1 but I realised it doesnt matter anymore because 1/1 is a Friday therefore it will be weekend after. So it doesn’t really affect.

I shouldn’t have whine too much about my job. I suddenly think that it is not too bad afterall talking about staff welfare. HAHA.

Another happy note, I am waiting, waiting for the return of my dear sister! She texted me yesterday saying that she is at San Fransisco now and that she has already gotten some stuff for me so far from BeBe, Guess and Forever21. The designs they carried over there is nicer (according to Sis) and much cheaper.

I am missing her…okie, maybe my camera. LOL.  Feel abit handicapped when I am camera-less, especially during the weekends.

And I can’t wait to tell her that her baby Keon ransacked my room every now and then when he came over for dinner! Uh…..as if my room is not messy enough to begin with!

I so feel like smacking yet at the same time smooching this naughty one when he conduct all the mischievous but cutie act in my room!
