crappy mood

I was sick again for the past 3 days.

Just lucky that the fever did not hit on me but having cough and flu are just as bad.

I don’t know why my immune system is getting weaker nowadays. I used to brag about how strong I was without falling sick for close to a year.

But now seems like I am down every other month?

Anyway, despite still feeling alittle unwell, I think I am still fit to attend the cousin gathering tonight at Dbl-O. I just cannot recall when was the last time I seen them! And it is full attendance! Looking forward to it.

Some stuffs are getting its toll on me for the past days.

I felt a sense of clarity despite a sense of spiteful bitterness.

But fuck it if I want bigger things in life.

I am not anticipating more shout outs in my mind you know.

So please zip up and go away.

I am not a fault-finder, okie, maybe in the past I was but peace-loving is what I sought for now.

But just some things are being pain in my ass.

I know I can choose to be ignorant and I am trying but I believe even saint need to rant.

Just let off my steam for awhile and I promise to be better after it.

my wonderful birthday celebration – 26/7/2009

I was waken by dear at 1 plus because his friend is coming. Met up with the insurance agent and settled the stuff.

I was feeling alright, not really typically hangover, just the usual no appetite and alcohol in the stomach feeling.

Accompanied him to send his parents to Chinatown and went to Bedok North to have his haircut.

Actually booked a buffet dinner at Holiday Inn Parkview Hotel for my Birthday Dinner with him, but decided not to go because I don’t have much appetite and it is not the best time to have buffet! And whenever I had heavy boozing the night before, I will love soupy stuff.

Therefore I suggested to go Golden Mile Complex to eat my all time favourite – Steamboat!

 

The dinner was great as I always love their steamboat. After dinner, Jason suggested going to Marina Barrage to ‘romantic’ LOL. Actually he wanted to bring me go 2 weeks ago after I watched an advertisement on TV and telling him that Toh went before. But I dropped the idea because I rather go town and walk with him that time. HAHA.

We had abit of hard time finding that place because the GPS doesnt have the information. Called Toh and asked her and she did give us some useful directions and we reached there quite easily after that!

The scenery is quite beautiful with an overview of the SG flyers. The walk up to the highest point is very relaxing. I like it when the wind blew on us because that was very refreshing!

We left the place after exploring the whole area.. actually there is nothing much over there. It is indeed romantic but I guess the crowd there ruin it. HAHA. Maybe we went too early and it was a Sunday. That’s why!

Dear wanted to go Swensen for dessert after that but it was already 10pm. I reckon all the Swensen were closed by that time and we drove to Bugis to take a look. It was closed! And the only crown price hotel that has 24hours Swensen is also closed for renovation. Idealess on where to go and settled on going to Holland Village because there might be cafes that opened until that late.

Went to Haagen Dazs at Holland Village. Craving for ice-cream. Jason initially wanted to order the Chocolate Fondue but the portion is so big and I am still full from the steamboat. I just want to eat the choc choc chip flavoured ice-cream lor.

Therefore, I just ordered a single scoop ice-cream and he had the Brownies with 2 flavoured ice-creams!

And I am telling you that their Brownies are the best la! We just loves it lor.

He actually wanted to get a cake from Haagen Daz but they don’t sell it in pieces. I don’t want him to get a big cake because we can’t finish and tell him that it is alright since I had a cake-cutting session yesterday already. =) He wished me happy birthday twice. Once when the clock strike 12 and the other when we went back home about to sleep. Instant blissfulness. LOL

Went prawning after that with Owen. Caught quite alot of prawns and barbequed after that. Reached home at around 6am and concuss. So tired!

As mentioned, I was on leave on Monday, the actual day of my birthday. I was at Ja’s place the whole day and slept till 5pm. Did not go out because he was very busy with his work on Monday. I saw him come back, go downstairs, come up again and rush downstairs again nonstop for don’t know how many times. Even dinner was left for him for an hour before he can sit down and have a proper meal.

Now, it is pressies time from the other darlings! (Char is complaining how come I only post Ja’s present to me and not theirs???? Because I want to save it in this post la! Told ya that I love all the pressies liao!!)

And this year.. they were saying that I got all the premium stuff. I agree! LOL

Dad’s Ang Bao! LOL, eh suddenly remember that he never give me anything for a few years liao leh! Happy to see this on my table when I got home last night. =D~

Overall, thanks for all the presents people! And the only present now that is not in the photo is the cap from WM and blue roses from Linda but I had post it before! (I heard that I still have incoming presents from others..wee! HAHA)

Other than thanking all the above who celebrated with me for my birthday, I still want to thank those who sms me and post on my FB for all the wishes!

Truely one of the most enjoyable birthday that I had! Loves~~~

Eh..randonmess, Jason caught this 2 ‘bear bear’ for me when he was at Melody Pub last Friday.

And he caught it using his bare hands. That’s the priviledge of having long hands. LOL!

So cute leh! Although he said that the ‘face’ of the toys look deformed but I think it it cute lor. Moreover it is a cat! and the Ultraman is in pink. Haha!

Friday, 24th July

Went DF with Toh and we only reached around 2plus. First stop is always station kitchen toilet! I think the waitress there is going to blacklist us soon. HAHA

 

The usual party began but I didn’t take photos this time round. Too lazy to take out my camera. Jason came shortly with his friends and the night ended home with him and when I stepped in the room.. I instantly can spot my birthday present. LOL!

Caught me into surprise because I didnt expect he will splurge on my present.. and he is quite a good liar. -_-” He told me that he bought the present from Taka Level 1 but in the end is at Paragon lor. And apparently, he went with Kim to get it on Wednesday night when I was out singing K with Toh. No wonder Kim didnt want to join us to KTV!!

Before that he still said he is not sure if I will like it. But darling, no matter what you buy I also will like okie! It’s really the sincerity that counts, not how extravagant it is.

It really leaves me smiling while sleeping. It sounds exaggerating but that was true. HAHA

Saturday, 25th July

I woke up at around 2pm. Told Jason not to eat anything because at night we are going for buffet! LOLs. He has been eyeing on the LV key pouch and therefore we went to get it before meeting the rest at the restaurant. Fetched Owen and off we went to DFS to get his pouch.

There is a massive traffic jam thats why after buying, we were extremely late. I kept urging Toh to order first because I don’t want them to go hungry because of waiting. But she insist on waiting. And ya, we are almost 45mins late. =p.

The dinner adjourned at around 9ish and off we went to KTV at 10dollars club. It has been ages since we last went there. Used to be our favourite hangout place last time!

KTV ended at 1am. Toh was saying I must go DF on that day. I somehow feel abit suspicious over that because the night before, Linda told me that she prepared something for me and that I must go over. HAHA.

HAHA I think the cleaner must be cursing at me. But no choice I am already on the verge and please take into consideration that I haven’t vomit for half a year la!! But I cannot really recall what I drank because there are some anonymous drinks. And I didnt finish the bottle that Jason open for me?

I have just got to endure for another 6 hours and it will be my most anticipating weekend!

Tommorow after the dinner, we will be going to KTV! I was actually thinking alot on the after program because the dinner should end around 9 plus given that we start at 7.

Was thinking of going either mind cafe or KTV but I decided on the latter because the KTV addiction is back!

I went K-singing with Toh on Wednesday night.

I havent been meeting this gf on weekdays for very long and asked her out on that day because I was free and the boyfriend apparently went scotting for my birthday present.

Settled down at this KTV, cashstudio @ Cuppage plaza. Singing noñ-stop for 2.5 hours aint joke and we were suffering from over exertion of voice problem after that. HAHA. How can we have perfect voice after singing our heart out for 千年之恋? Our favourite song and I really admire singer like 阿信 who can sing so well!  

Work is so bored and I have nothing to do again. I always complain to Jason about how boring I was at work and he said :

Go and blog la, blog about how wonderful your boyfriend is.

LOL.

Okie, So my boyfriend is very wonderful as claimed by him.

HAHA in actual fact he is really nice and I am starting to love everything about him.

Just that at times he smoke a tad too much.

Just that at times he tends to get angry with me quite easily.

Just that at times his tone of voice ain’t the nicest.

Just that at times I find his character rather eccentric. LOL!

BUT

He is a neat person.

He is family-oriented to a certain extend.

He is patient and discipline.

He is hardworking.

He treats his friends well.

He is humorous at times.

He does his housework.

That explains his character attraction to me. Simple and contenting. For other type of attractions from him, shall be revealed on another day. HAHA. And I am looking forward to discover further good vibes of him. Hopefully got la. LOL

But that’s how it is suppose to be like in love isn’t it -  to keep things simple and contented. At least for now. =)

So darling, you are the best.

I couldn’t contain my excitement about this weekend.

Given that I skip one birthday celebration last year, I hope this will be a good one.

Some updates on last week..

Saturday

Woke up at around 2pm. Had lunch and waited for dear’s friend to come to his house. He is an insurance agent from Manulife and I wanted to buy a policy from him under medical care. The benefits were quite good and I was thinking that it is better to get myself protected before bad things happened! *touch wood*

We ordered KFC for dinner and slack awhile before heading to Amos birthday celebration @ Melody Pub

Reached there at around 11.45pm, played some games and had some drinks before the time reaches 3am and the whole lot went fly.

And the girls (Karin & Jac) had been texting me asking what time am I going down! But I was thinking it won’t be very nice to leave alone to find them therefore waited until the pub closes, which is at 3am.

I hugged Jac immediately when I reached because according to her, she was bored without me and Toh has been MIA-ing! (u heard that Toh? please hor next time dont keep MIA-ing!)

Sunday

Slept till 3.30pm. Gosh! It was really late. But no choice I was totally shagged out. HAHA. Ate lunch at only about 4pm and I was very hungry la.

Dear suggested going out. =) ~~!! Off we went to Orchard in the evening. We walked from Taka to Heeren then back to Wisma and all the way to Cineleisure. Good form of exercise ya. He finally bought new clothes. LOL. Then we went to Cineleisure to have Kim Chi hotpot (slurps!) for dinner.

At night, helped him abit with his work then went to find Owen at his house nearby Kopitiam to have coffee.

Slept at 3am (arghhh!) and dear send me to work today.

 

That’s basically my weekends!

Going for lunch soon and my stomach is grumbling.

And, I miss him now.

If boredom can kill, I would have be dead by now.

YAHHH.. I am super duper bored because I have NOTHING  to do for these 2 days. No work-load, no entertainment apart from surfing net during work.

I suddenly sound like a good-for-nothing.

So demoralising.

I had been lurking alone recently in town. Great! Because I haven’t been doing so for the longest time I remember.

I don’t like to go shopping with people. I explained because I don’t like to seek opinions. I like what I buy because I know my decision will be swayed if somebody say otherwise.

I don’t like others to wait for me when I shop because I feel uncomfortable, knowing that somebody is waiting and I can’t bring myself to take my own sweet time in a shop.

I like to manage my own time and not input other’s agenda into my schedule.

Therefore, I am quite a loner I can say. I won’t ask the girls to go shopping with me. I don’t expect my boyfriend to go shopping with me (unless my main purpose is not to shop but have some good moments together in town). When I am all alone in HongKong for months, I lied to my classmates that I am not feeling well when they are out together in groups because I want to sneak out alone to my favourite shopping paradise at Mongkok and happily contributing my money to boost their economy.

I think that is the weirdest thing in me.

But I love the stuffs that I bought generally. Budgetly cheap and nice. I don’t go for extravagantly loud, branded and expensive dresses. I look at the price tag most of the time. I don’t mind to squeeze with the aunties to get good deals. I don’t mind to go to the sales section most of the time. I don’t mind to bargain for even just a dollar. I like to go to ‘pasar malam’ look-alike places to shop.

Perhaps I love cheap thrills. LOL.

On a different note, 26 is approaching.

I couldn’t believe that the thing that travel fastest in speed is call TIME.

10 years ago, I was still someone who is like a dumb nerd awaiting to get into Poly because I can finally ditch the uniform and dress up to school, in hopeful to know more new friends. LOL

9 years ago, Hubert and I fell in love with each other just upon the first time I met him in school and began our lovey-dovey life from then.  

8 years ago, I had my nose pierced and regretted since then because of the mark it left on me.

7 years ago, I had my first birthday celebration in a club, Planet Paradigm and got so drunk that Hubert got to piggyback me out of the club.

6 years ago, I finally gotten my car licence.

5 years ago, I had the sweetest 21st birthday celebration in a chalet with many well wishes, angbaos and loved ones around me that I won’t forget that moment.

4 years ago, I got to know my now best friends – Karin & Kim and was thankful to God for blessing them with me till now

3 years ago, I landed in a job that I pretty like and it was not a wrong decision for me to stay with them for the next 2 years. =)

2 years ago, I had the first major break-up with Hubert. I had depression, my weight plunged like nobody’s business. From then on, life changed and we were exposed to different people and my clubbing life resume excessively. It was the most complicated year.

1 year ago, We patched up, had the strongest relationship compared to the last 7 years, I joined the airline, it was the best year of all but things took a turn towards the end of the year.

This year, we officially broke off for the most serious time. I stopped flying. I met Jason. =)

Everything including the tiny weeny details add up to a summary of my life for the past 10 years.

Scary isn’t it because I still can picture images of those events in my mind vividly but counting to it, it was 10 years.
