Met up with Olivia for dinner and coffee session on Friday night. Oh Man, i just miss her company! Ephriam & Karin came to join us shortly and off we went partying @ St James.

Ephriam and co. went to Boiler and we went to DF. It was truely a fun night with the girls. Many photos were taken. We took photos with many people that we dont usually take with! Was in the mood for taking photos that day but too bad i think i look quite chui. =(

xmas in the air

As mentioned, I had to report for flight during xmas eve.

It was a night flight to CMB but we managed to make this flt a great one.

Reporting time was at 8pm on xmas eve and the ISM was a Singaporean but HK based. She looked fierce intially and i expect the usual formal briefing with many emergency questions asked. But I was wrong! ISM was so funny that she gave us some ‘decorations’ to put on our uniform. The girls decided to put the decoration on our bun and the guys will wear it on their tie. Look very hilarious at first but actually, we look quite pretty!

Oh ya, and my mailbox was filled with xmas presents from the colleagues and company. It was like a sweet surprise when i opened it. Many well wishes from the crews. Thank you!

Thanks to Crystina too for sending me the photos. I didnt bring my cam! This was the first time that i was being rostered to work in Business Class. I thought it might be a good chance to learn more since the load is not full for Biz Class. But apparently, the 3 of us (kav, kyle & me) was being ‘thrown’ to Economy Class after take off as EY was pretty full and Biz Class loading was too light.

Helped out with their service and back to the biz class galley for some chit-chatting. I was actually in the cockpit when the clock striked 12. This was the 2nd time that i am in a cockpit. My pursur wanted us to go in and learn to serve the cockpit crews and all of us ended chatting inside for almost 30mins.

Upon reaching CMB, ISM want to have a toasting session. No alcohol of cause because we have another sector to go. We used Orange juice and Ginger Ale instead. So here are the photos of the toasting session.

And while on the way back to SG, we had another photo taken at the galley when i was distributing chocolates to all the crews..

We had another round of toasting at 6.30am when we touched down at SG. This time, we opened 2 bottles of Champange!

It was such a great flight! Everyone was so nice to each other. Although i missed my friends back here who were partying happily at the usual place, i still enjoyed this xmas in the air.

a long post!

I finally had the chance to sit down infront of my computer and write a decent post. HAHA.

I am back for almost a week. Life in HK was still as great as ever.

Business Class training was kinda easy and everyday was filled with happiness with the people.

We went shopping and eating almost everyday after school. I couldn’t resist the super nice and cheap winter clothes! I really had a hard time carrying my luggage back. I had to sit on it and spent like 15 mins trying to zip my luggages up!

I received many christmas presents from the lovelies as well. The most surprising and amusing one must be from dear juv lor. We went shopping one fine day at my favourite shop. I already had 4 tops in the buying list. Suddenly, I saw this very nice dress with furry collar. I fell in love almost immediately so i got very excited and ask Juv,

Me: Juv, this fur fur dress very nice leh! OMG!!!

Juv: Huh? U sure? But i bet u can’t wear it in SG lor, sure damn hot la.

Me: Really meh.. actually i also think so, but ok leh, buy and keep then next time sure got chance wear one la.

Juv: Lian, pls be practical la. U already bought 4 tops, dont waste $, trust me. Somemore u sure wont wear one.

Me: Haix.. Ok lor. Sian

I put in back reluctantly because i was also thinking that I shouldn’t spend any more money on things that i know i won’t wear. Therefore i went to pay for my loots and get my ass out of the shop asap in order not to let myself change my mind.

While walking, Juv asked me how do i feel? I told her ok lor, because really not practical to buy something that i can’t wear in SG although i already bought alot la, haha. Then she asked me if i will go back and buy another day. I told her i might, because i like it quite alot.

Suddenly, this sweetie took out the top from her bag and said…

Lian… this is for u.. i know u like la! I discouraged u to buy just now because i wanna buy for u lor..haha…

I wanna faint! Because how did she buy the top without me knowing when i was in the same shop with her? I was so touched and happy! She is just super sweet.

Last Tuesday was my graduation day. Quite bored as most of the time were spent waiting and rehearsing. We graduated with 90 other flight attendants from other classes.

I am in hk having business class training now.

Touched down on Tues and will be back on next Friday.

Training started for 2 days and everything seems to go smoothly as we have a small group. Because this time round, it is only the Sporeans who will be attending this training.

The trainer is very very nice! But the things to memorise is tedious. I was lucky because i am good in memorising things. LOL

Went out yesterday with Joyce, Juvelyn & Vivian. It was winter now and i didnt expect here to be quite cold. And the most kuku thing i did was to only brought a pair of sandals here. All of them were smart to bring overcoat and boots.

Therefore, we went shopping at Mongkok. I bought a pair of boots, a overcoat and scarf. Was so happy because the things that i bought were damn nice and cheap!

As usual, Juv went to cut hair at her salon. We did a very daring thing for her. I havent been doing this for so long! I hope she will be very happy and good luck to her and Mr. Hairstylist. =D~~

Ok, i am going to study now and there will be test tml.
