I realised that I didnt blog about some stuffs before and after I reach HK. I was quite busy and my brain stops working systematically. Sigh.
Talking about before departing to HK, I went to have a buffet dinner with Honey at a Japanese restaurant at Vivo City. A farewell dinner for me. =)
Nice dinner with good servings of salmon sashimi, beef, tempura etc.
The day of Departure
My darlings came to send me off which included Vivian, Kim and my beloved daddy. hee.
I miss them so much!
I miss him too.. *muackies*
Arrival @ HK
Checked into the hotel. Erm, I think I am really a lazy bum lor. Because it is just the 3rd day now and my room is so messy. Before and After pictures!
Before – My Bed
After (Clothes lying everywhere)
Before – My study table
After (Full of books and newspapers!)
Before – My Toilet
After (Hmm, actually still quite neat la. haha)
Ok! Here is really messy!
Wah lau. I couldn’t believe my power of messing up a room. I shall find a day and keep my stuff nicely lor. Can’t expect the housekeeper to tidy up my stuffs for me right. They can only help me to tidy my bed, change towels and empty the baskets lor.
Regarding to the hotel that I am staying, it is kinda out of the way because it is not anywhere near town, but very near to the airport. We have to live in Cathay City because this is the place where all the trainings will be held. They have all the neccessary facilities here and my colleauges commented that it looks like Sim City. Haha. I love to go to the Dakota Club here as there is a diverse range of sports facilities including gym, outdoor tennis court and swimming pool. There is also a convenience store in the city.
Beautiful views from the sky lounge on the top floor of Cathay City
Generally, I am quite satisfied with the accomodation here other than the inaccessible part to town. But anyway, I am here to work, not to play. I kept telling myself that I still have plenty of chances to come back to HK. In the mean time, just focus on the upcoming stressful training that will be starting on Mon. I am kinda worried because there are so many ex-crews in my batch. They pick things up faster. I am totally new in this line. Know nuts about anything about airline. I can foresee that I am going to face alot of problems. But I know despite of the upcoming stress that I will be facing, I found ‘antidote’ for my stressfulness too. keke.
Farewell card from Annabel :
“Dear Phyllis Jie Jie, May you have a safe flight to HK and a successful training stint. Jia you for your 6 weeks and be a great flight stewardess!”
