I think there is this craze going around. Or maybe because I am in the age group when people started settling down. Congrats to Jeremi and Weiwen!
I knew about Weiwen wedding plan since last year. In fact his big day is already confirmed to be in June. The more stunning one is on Jeremi. Didn’t even know that he has a GF despite we are his good friends lor. When he mentioned to me that he is going to ROM soon, I still scolded him not to joke and it is impossible and making comments like he will be the last bachelor on earth. But it came out to be true when he introduce his fiancee on Wednesday. A really gentle and sweet girl.
Everyone must be asking me when will it be my turn since I am with neyney for so long. Well, we do have plans for it but we both agree that it won’t be so soon. Due to some reasons la. I have not really settle down on my career yet and to be frank, I am still in a dilemma about whether I will be changing a job real soon. About whether the current job is the job I want in long term. Though working for them for almost 2 years and things are progressing, but there are still some things lack that I want in my perspective of a wonderful job. Secondly, there are still some things to accomodate to each other before we can tie the knot. Like my plan for the future differs alittle from his. Like whether to get a flat, how are we going to have our own car together and whether we want to have kids etc. Thirdly is about financial. We need to be ready to commit for all the loans and commitments on the above.
Basically my plan is to get our own flat of cause. But he really love his area (so do i) and wouldnt much feel like moving out of Tiong Bahru. But if we were to buy flat around here, it is not cheap leh. Then talk about kids. I dont know why at the present moment I don’t feel like having a kid in our future plan but he wants it. Don’t ask me why about not having kids because I really don’t know! But that is for now la, i don’t know in future.
Not so easy to come out with a plan that both are happy with. Think there must be some accomodating here and there. We did plan maybe in another 3-4 years down the road then we get married. Anyway, it is good to plan now i know, but 3-4 years is long enough for us to consider all the facts. Funny me, everytime I think about this matter, I will start to imagine my wedding with him. Haha. Imagine he propose to me and our wedding night with the bliss from all the friends and relatives, the whole ceremony thing, etc, I think I will cry my ass out lor. Haha. I hate to be like a little girl but I am very emotion one ok. =p
So… still, I really feel excited for the both of them! I even already know what to wear for WW big day. LOL. I told this to them and they ask me how come I am more Gan Jiong than the bridegroom. Jeremi ROM confirmed to be in October. Yea man!
BTW I went to the private sale at OG, Orchard point yesterday with FM and his mum and spent a whopping $220. Wah lau, I asked myself how come I still spend so much when I am going overseas soon but the things that I bought are so irressistable! Cannot stop myself from buying but the queue is horrible! Lucky we reached at 8.30am and still can have the chance to go in. Here are my buys which I dont regret or feel a pinch because I really love them!
